Kenichiro Nishihara Since 1996, Kenichiro Nishihara has been involved in music production in a wide range of fields centering on fashion and is currently involved in sound direction for shows such as the Tokyo Collection and Paris Collection, as well as in-store sound for GinzaSix and the champagne bar in the Hermes Ginza store. His work “Humming Jazz” (2008) was nominated for the Billboard JAPAN Jazz Artist of the Year 2009 / Outstanding Jazz Artist Award, and his subsequent works have been a hit both in Japan and abroad. In 2018, he celebrated the 10th anniversary of his debut and released a best mix & remix album “Kaleidoscope Suite” and has appeared at many events and festivals in Japan and abroad with his Jazz-centered DJ style and band sets. In February of this year, he released a NEW ALBUM “Elastic Afterwords” featuring domestic and international artists such as Michael Kaneko “SIRUP”, MARTER, Sam Ock, and Substantial, with whom he toured in Asia, and it reached No. 1 on the iTunes Jazz Charts in both the album and song categories.
