The photo exhibition "13" by photographer Yuta Kato will be held from April 13th at NOHGA HOTEL AKIHABARA TOKYO.Named "13," this exhibition features a collection of works where Kato stayed at NOHGA HOTEL AKIHABARA TOKYO for 13 days, interviewing and photographing hotel guests and people in the Akihabara district. Additionally, a photo book titled "13," containing the exhibited works, will be released.

"On the second day of my stay, a passerby said to me, 'I'm talking to you now because our frequencies are in sync,' marking the beginning of mysterious encounters and events that unfolded over 13 days. Walking the streets guided by intuition, I connected with 45 individuals. I hope this experience sparks contemplation about the intangible connections between people and the beauty of unexpected encounters."

Yuta Kato
Born in 1995 in Kobe, currently based in Tokyo. Inspired by the suggestion "Why not talk to strangers every day?" from a senior, he began interviewing, writing, and photographing people on the streets since 2014. Moved to Tokyo in April 2019 and became independent in 2022.
