NOHGA HOTEL UENO TOKYO seeks to create an eco-friendly hotel through energy consumption control, waste and drainage measures, consideration for food, and local community activities. Energy consumption control
- Adoption of green electricity
  
  With CO2 Zero Plan* our hotel is powered by green electricity from renewable sources that reduce CO2 emissions.
  * CO2 Zero Plan enforces to use non-fossil derived renewable energy to achieve virtually 100% renewable energy and zero CO2 emissions. Electric power is provided by NF Power Service Co., Ltd., an affiliate company, enabling us to stably achieve zero CO2 emissions.

- Resource circulation service "PASSTO"
  
  In partnership with ECOMMIT Co., Ltd.'s resource circulation service 'PASSTO,' we offer a service to collect clothing that guests no longer need during their stay to participate in reuse and recycling initiatives.
- No use of individually packaged bath amenities
  
  Implemented for shampoos, conditioners, body soaps, and hand soaps.
- Amenities made from natural ingredients
  
  We use amenities made from sustainable natural ingredients that are beneficial for both the environment and humans.
- Name tag (in collaboration with ALLOY)
  
  Reuse of leather cutting waste produced in the manufacturing process.
- Use of biodegradable bamboo straws made from dietary fibers
  
  Promoting plastic reduction.
- No use of paper towels at lunch time
  
  Paper towels replaced with towels.
- Use of highly biodegradable cleaning agents for cleaning kitchens and guest rooms
  
  Highly biodegradable, environmentally-friendly cleaning agents weuse are manufactured by Ecolab GK.

- Use of naturally grown food supplies
  
  Ingredients and drinks are carefully selected, mainly from domestic producers.
LOCAL COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
- Participation in local community activities
  
  We actively contribute to community activities, such as collaborating with the local neighborhood association, Ueno Tourism Federation, and Tokyo Cultural Resources Conference, as well as the 'Monomachi' craft market event.
