Be enveloped in the beautiful cherry blossoms of Ueno Park, and gaze in awe at national treasures in the Tokyo National Museum, which has the greatest traditions among museums in Japan. The tour features a visit to the Kujokan teahouse in the Museum inner garden, which showcases the exquisite architectural style distinctive to Japanese-style houses, before a special Bistro NOHGA hanami bento lunch available only on this tour. After lunch, guests can experience the tea ceremony at the wonderfully atmospheric thatched roof Shunsoro teahouse, which dates from the late Edo period.

With special narration by Museum guides, view the National Treasure "Amusements under Blossom Trees" by Kano Naganobu (Edo period, 17th century), second floor, Japanese Gallery (Honkan)
View "Highlights of Japanese Art" in the Japanese Gallery (Honkan)

11:30 Enter the Kujokan teahouse (premium experience 2)
Narration showcasing the Museum's history and points of special interest, as well as the design and features of the Kujokan

*Participants in Group B (second half) wait for their tea ceremony while enjoying the Kujokan and garden.
*Organizers will divide participants into two equal groups based on their requests.
★ The Shunsoro is a Japanese-style house built as a place of rest in the late Edo period. After relocation to the Tokyo National Museum inner garden, its original form has been carefully restored and maintained. The authentic Edo period atmosphere makes the Shunsoro a truly special teahouse to experience the tea ceremony in. The tea ceremony here is the highlight among the premium experiences on this tour.

After the formal program concludes, participants are welcome to explore the garden at their leisure or view the permanent exhibits in the Museum's Japanese Gallery.
