Gojo Wakamiya Pottery Festival

Gojo Wakamiya Pottery Festival brings back the spirit of the Taisho-era Gojozaka Pottery Market, a chance to feel Kyoto's craft and culture up close. Over 80 local kilns and ceramic artists line Gojo Street, offering unique Kiyomizu ware, one-of-a-kind pieces, and works by up-and-coming makers.

During the festival, we're joining the celebration at NOHGA HOTEL KIYOMIZU. At our restaurant, bakery, and rooftop bar, we're serving dishes and drinks on original tableware crafted by ceramic artists from Kyoto's Higashiyama district.
