The menu focuses on dishes grilled with Josper Oven and made with local ingredients such as Kyoto vegetables, delivering the full flavor of each ingredient. A large selection of natural wine from Japan and abroad, as well as the hotel's original cocktails, are available best paired with local food. With 100 seats and a private room, 20 terrace seats are also available where you can dine in the open air. Open from morning to night, and the restaurant welcomes both hotel guests and locals. With no service charge and no dress code, CICON is a place that can be used casually on a daily basis.

Sandwiches and square bread are the specialty, and "pain de campagne" made with Japanese wheat makes just the right sandwich. Our square bread is kneed without any dairy product and are made with water roux to make it fluffy and chewy. Vegan option is also available on the menu. Our bakery is open to both hotel guests and locals, welcoming everyone in the neighborhood.

The rooftop bar filled with greenery offers expansive views over the city of Kyoto, overlooking the whole of Higashiyama, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Kyoto Tower, and Mount Hiei.
