NOHGA HOTEL has been involved in several initiatives that emphasize our relationship with art, and the artist-in-residence program is one of them. We are excited to announce that we will be showcasing the exhibition of Keijiro Suzuki at Lobby Lounge.
Artist: Keijiro Suzuki
Exhibition Period: August 7th - August 17th
【Traveler's Footnotes】
This exhibition and participatory project features Keijiro Suzuki, a contemporary artist and art manager dedicated to creating opportunities for learning through local resources.
From May 12 to May 18, and again from June 30 to July 3, 2025, Suzuki conducted a residency based at Nohga Hotel Kiyomizu Kyoto. During his stay of approximately 11 days, he explored the history, culture, spirituality, and natural environment of Kyoto. The exhibition invites visitors to relive Suzuki's encounters and observations of both tangible and intangible aspects of Kyoto through his unique perspective.
Additionally, during the exhibition period from August 7 to August 10, Suzuki will be present at the venue to lead a participatory project. Guests staying at Nohga Hotel Kiyomizu Kyoto are warmly invited to share their own "traveler's footnotes": memories, recommendations, or favorite routes from their journey in Kyoto. We look forward to hearing your stories and experiences.
